About J.J. Croix
J.J. Croix began his career in the financial services industry in early 2000 after three years working as an auditor for then “Big Six” accounting firm Ernst and Young, LLP. He received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to his CPA license through the State of Texas and his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, J.J. holds securities licenses 7, 24, 63 and 65 with LPL Financial as well as health, life, and annuity licenses in the State of Texas.
While working in public accounting at Ernst & Young, J.J. had an ambitious goal of becoming a Chief Financial Officer “CFO” for a large company. After finding that his passion for working with people was stronger than his passion for working with companies, he modified the original goal and became a CFP®. Now, instead of serving as a CFO for a large company, J.J. proudly serves as a CFO to his individual clients. In this role, he seeks to provide the ideas, alternatives and solutions that you need to make great decisions on your most important financial matters.
Acting upon his belief on the importance of service, J.J. has served on numerous boards and committees in El Campo including former president of the Boys & Girls Club, vice president of the City Development Board, and session member of the First Presbyterian Church. He currently serves as a Trustee of the El Campo Independent School District as well as Secretary of the El Campo Rotary Club.
J.J. and his wife, Christy, have been married since June 1998 and have three children, Griffen, Marin and Jillian. J.J.'s hobbies include spending time with his family, fishing, golf, and coaching little league sports.
